Laura Haynes, MS, CCC-SLP

I am an ASHA-certified and state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a diverse background in healthcare and communication. My career began as a Registered Nurse after I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University. After working as an RN for over six years, I decided to make a career shift, seeking a new path that aligned with my passion for communication and helping others.

I returned to school to earn my Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Since then, I have gained experience working with children with a wide range of speech and language disorders as well as Autism, ADHD, and other disorders. I specialize in working with nonverbal and minimally verbal children, incorporating Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to support their communication development.

I am passionate about providing therapy that is both play-based and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in creating a supportive, engaging, and individualized approach that helps children reach their full potential in a fun and meaningful way. My goal is always to empower children and their families.
